Guitars for "Familiar" recorded.

With some crisp drums, deliciously creamy bass and a great mix to work with, Joe and I sat down earlier tonight and launched a guitar attack on "Familiar," which is a finalist in the "Best Song to finish the sequencing of an album" category. We're pretty certain it will be the fifteenth and final song on the album, but we'll all just have to wait and see how it plays out, won't we?

Joe established two distinct tones to approach the recordings with, and we came to a conclusion on amp recording/microphone setup. In the end, we got a very, very intense performance that is indicative of what the song demands of Joe's guitar. In a word, perfect.
